Running the MySQL Community Server

In this part of this tutorial we will teach you how to run the MySQL Community Server on port 3306, by default.

Implement for Target to be:

H:\MySQL8\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe --console

This action causes warnings to be displayed on the MySQL Community Server terminal.

Double-click

mysqld.exe - Shortcut

To activate the

MySQL Community Server

This operation opens the

MySQL Community Server Terminal

Like the

Apache Server Terminal

the

MySQL Community Server Terminal

must be kept OPEN while in use.

In order not to disturb the viewing of other applications, it must therefore be kept minimized on the

Taskbar


 Closing the MySQL Community Server Terminal 

To close the

MySQL Community Server Terminal

as in the

Apache Server Terninal

the traditional way of closing can be used to close the terminal.
